Fine Line Printing Using Gravure Offset Printing
In addition to our main business of screen printing, we introduce fine line printing using gravure offset printing. Gravure offset printing is a method specialized in fine line printing. The following photo shows an example of metal mesh wiring printing without using ITO for capacitive touch panels.

About the Printing Method
Compared to conventional photolithography methods, the printing method significantly reduces the number of process steps. Additionally, as an additive process, it minimizes material waste and enables cost reduction along with equipment investment.

Application Areas of This Technology
The coverage areas of gravure offset printing and screen printing are shown in the following graph.
Screen printing covers a wide range from 50μm line width to full solid printing. Gravure offset printing covers the fine line area with line widths from 5 to 100μm.

Stable Long-Run Printing
Traditionally, gravure offset printing faced issues with long-run stability due to paste solvents swelling the silicone blanket. We have developed a system that enables stable long-run printing by introducing blanket drying and automatic blanket cleaning devices.
