Fine Wiring Printing Solution

In addition to our main business of screen printing, we would like to introduce fine wiring printing using gravure offset printing.
Gravure offset printing is a printing method specialized for fine wiring. The following photo is a prototype example of metal mesh wiring printing for a capacitive touch panel that does not use ITO.

Compared to typical photolithography methods, the printing method can significantly reduce the number of processes. Furthermore, because the printing method is an additive process, there is less waste of material, which can reduce costs along with the equipment installation costs.
The areas covered by gravure offset printing and screen printing are shown in the following graph. Screen printing covers a wide area, from line widths of 50 μm to full solid printing. Gravure offset covers the fine wiring area with line widths of 5 to 100 μm.
Previously, gravure offset printing had the problem of being unable to stably print long runs because the paste solvent swelled the silicone blanket. By introducing a blanket drying device and automatic blanket cleaning device, we have created a system that allows for stable long-run printing.
